What types of projects do you take on?
We bring a design-led strategic approach to every project we undertake. At the heart of our work is a focus on solving problems creatively, whether that means increasing conversions, improving search rankings, generating leads, or meeting other key marketing objectives. Our process, honed over years of experience in successful web design and branding projects, has often led to our work being a catalyst for acquisitions or sales.
While we don’t restrict ourselves to any single industry or business type, we specialize in B2B and B2C brands, ranging from start-ups to well-established brands and large multinational corporations. Our expertise spans industries including automotive web design, recruitment website design, school web design, educational websites, digital agencies, and the digital marketing sector.
Our team excels in everything from simple websites to complex multi-regional and multilingual web design projects on platforms like WooCommerce, Shopify. We support you at every stage of your growth, offering website design, web development, website rebuilds and re-platforming, and eCommerce web design.
If you’re driven by a creative-led approach, let’s discuss how we can collaborate.
What is the usual budget range for your projects?
Most of our primary projects, such as brochure websites or online shops, typically fall within the $15k to $60k range. However, the exact cost depends on the project’s specific scope, requirements, and the platform used, leading to some variation between projects. Our larger and more complex projects generally exceed $60k, with our minimum project size starting at $15k.
Several factors influence the final cost, including the size of the site, the complexity of the design, the level of interactivity required during development, and any unique features or integrations.
Different budget ranges can provide various solutions to meet your project needs. If your budget is limited, we can consider a phased approach and potentially launch with a minimum viable product (MVP). We encourage you to share your project brief and specifications with us. Based on our extensive industry experience and previous projects, we can quickly provide a more accurate estimate.
How long does a project typically take?
With our design-led process, where we craft custom website designs, most projects typically take about 12 working weeks. Some may be finished in as little as 10 weeks, while others might extend up to 15 weeks. Larger and more intricate projects, particularly those done in phases, might take even longer. The timeline largely depends on the project’s scope.
To keep everything on schedule, we ask that you adhere to any deadlines where your input is necessary.
We work closely with our clients and their teams through an online project management tool. Your team will be invited to create an account, giving you access to project milestones and timelines so you can track our progress.
However, several factors beyond our control can influence the timeline:
- External Dependencies: Working with third parties or in-house teams on tasks like branding, copywriting, or CRM integration can extend the project timeline.
- Client Availability: The time and resources our clients can allocate to the project, especially when balancing other commitments, can impact the pace.
- Stakeholder Involvement: The number of stakeholders involved in decision-making and approvals can affect the timeline.
- Feedback Loop: The speed at which clients provide feedback, approve milestones, or sign off on deliverables—especially when multiple stakeholders are involved—can lead to delays.
For a more precise timeline, we recommend discussing specific project milestones directly with us.
When can you start?
Usually, we can begin a project within 2-6 weeks after confirmation. However, since our workflow is dynamic, involving multiple proposals and ongoing studio projects, our availability can change quickly. We handle projects on a first-come, first-served basis, so the sooner you can confirm, the better we can accommodate your schedule.
After we present a proposal, we make it a priority to keep potential clients informed about possible start dates and any changes in our schedule. To ensure a smooth transition from planning to execution, once a project is confirmed, we follow several steps to kick it off:
- Formalizing Agreements: We prepare a final proposal that requires approval and signature from the appropriate authority within your company.
- Payment: After the proposal is signed, we issue a deposit invoice that must be paid before we can schedule the project or begin work.
- Team Onboarding: We hold an internal briefing to get our team fully prepared for the project.
- Preliminary Work: Before the official kickoff, we conduct initial planning and research, gather necessary assets, and align on each project phase.
- Kickoff: With everything set, our planning team will start wireframing the website with you.
Typically, these steps are completed within a few days; however, if your company has processes that slow down these steps, it may affect your project’s start date.
Do you work with pre-made Shopify or WordPress themes?
Unfortunately, we do not. We take pride in our creative-led approach, focusing on designing and building custom themes specifically tailored to our clients’ unique needs and objectives. Every project we take on is crafted and developed from scratch.
Each website we create and every WordPress or Shopify theme we develop is unique, reflecting a personalized effort for each client. This dedication to customization ensures that our work stands out, providing an exceptional user experience for your customers and driving growth for your brand.
Do you take on ‘development-only’ projects?
Occasionally, yes. While our main passion is in custom design and build projects, we do sometimes take on ‘build-only’ or ‘development-only’ projects. We recognize that our expertise in building WordPress sites and Shopify stores can be valuable for clients who need development services.
Feel free to reach out, and we can discuss whether we’re a good fit for your project.
Do you handle minor updates or small tasks for sites not developed by your team?
In most cases, we do not. If your website was designed by another agency, we typically won’t take on maintenance or one-off adjustments. We only work on websites that we have designed and built ourselves.
